Clee revisited

In an attempt to escape the fog we got in the car and drove up Clee Hill. At the car park we could just see a misty sun. Climbing upwards past the Kremlin Pub the mist got thinner and by the time we were at the quarry workings we were in sunshine and looking down on a sea of cloud.

Only once in life do I recall seeing clouds over the sea like this . . it is an eerie feeling like the fundamental points of reference are distorted. Beautiful shot, grouser.

@Ronnie 2¢: Thanks Ronnie. Not over the sea though (at least not yet) Ludlow and the valley are below. I love the sea but in fact we live just about as far away from it as you can get in the UK

A breathtaking shot grouse, Clee Hill must have a bit of height? Nice color too...! The Kremlin.... must be a commy area.

@Observing: It's 533 metres at the summit. Not so very high but high enough to give the Kremlin Pub its name. Nothing higher between here and Russia supposedly.
