Hola Comares

So in an attempt to escape the freezing UK we fled to Andalusia. It worked for a couple of days and then the north wind kicked in. Unlike our house in England the Comares one does not have central heating. It's old and draughty with thick walls that soak up heat like a sponge. I watched in horror as the electric meter went in to hyperdrive. The sun and heat came back the day before we left. Returning to, what else but snow and the coldest winter for thirteen years and that's only so far.
This is the view from the Castle end of the village looking at the bulk of the houses.
