Barley Clouds

Back in Shropshire the barley wafts wavelike in the wind. Shame about that, wheat would have made for better alliteration but barley does it best (waft that is).

I love the lighting on this shot, it is really something special. A perfect shot. It would be my shot of the day if Liners hadn't put hers up today at my insistance. I'll give it 5 stars though.

I like the wind's effect on the grain. What a beautiful, water-like, look that creates. Wonderful clouds cover too.

great clouds mate and i can almost feel the movement of the barley caused by the wind. i would like to be in an open field like this today but instead i'm stuck in a concrete jungle with bad weather today haha
