The greenhouse at Barons Hill. Not a trace of glass, but the metalwork is still intact. Unlike in the ornamental gardens where only the stumps remain of beautiful metal balustrades. The metal presumably removed as part of the war effort.
That's an exciting find and not something you come across everyday. They certainly built things to last back then. Very good shot.

very haunting -- not so much of ghost and spirits... but of the likely passing of humanity, and the eventual reclaiming of the earth. beautiful seen!

The railings from my mother's house were taken for the 'war effort' . . it seems longer ago than it actually was. Fascinating images here.
