Wood versus Stone

I think I have probably posted enough on this particular place now. Though I have many more pictures, they are all probably making more or less the same point. It's encapsulated simply here with wood versus stone.

An amazing place for sure, and we've had a good impression through your photos. In Eastham village there is something similar, it's an old Victorian pleasure garden, ruined and overtaken by vegetation, but the fountain, bear pit, and many other features are visible.
