From Reclamation to Demolition

From Reclamation to Demolition in a day. This fearsome machine was just pecking away. I've never seen anything quite like it before.
Just a brief visit in between trips. I'm going....going.....

Quite sad in a way, to think, people were shoved into these boxes and they may have spent half their lives decorating the damned thing, and meticulously placing their worthless treaures.

Nice report.

wow -- sad and yet fascinating! i do love the destruction of buildings -- he crunches and snapping of concrete -- the sprinkling chime of broken glass, the heavy thuds of debris... it is rather cathartic! probably because it cannot be done by hand -- so by machine is acceptable... by detonation even more enthralling! wonderful shot here - an action still of reaped destruction! marvelous textures!

I really like how you can see the different wallpaper in each apartment. And the floors/ceilings to each floor look so insignificant looking at them this way. Wonderful picture

wow! Itr's a good document and makes me feel melancholic about the time and lives falling with the house.

WOw. This is horrible. I hope that the people who occupied this space were all rehoused appropriately. It reminds me a bit of coney island, but those people are likely to have to fend for themselves - ugh.

Also, my house (my favourite house that I have ever had) was demolished a few weeks ago and this reminds me of the sadness of finding out that my beautiful treasure was wrecked... In this case, even a shithole building was still someone's home.

Is that someone's cooker still there on the top floor? I guess it is too late now . . but, yes, all kinda sad in a deep way.
