Back to the seaside. This is Studland in Dorset.
Reminds me a little of the shot I posted a while ago from the West Coast Nature Reserve. I love this photo, though. I know I have a bit of a wild imagination, but the point looks a little like a swan's head and neck! Ok - I'm putting the brandy away...

@dobbino: I see what you're getting at. A bit pointy for a swan. More like a crane perhaps. Have another glass on me.
Sweet... looks so relaxing...

A grand vista. Lovely shot. I, too, can see the swans head and neck and the curve of the bay forming into part of a wing as though the swan were in flight. (Sorry i mean crane Ha!ha! and 'no' i have'nt been having a tipple)

That's a fine stretch of beach grouser, although I have never heard of Studland, sounds Danish to me, are you sure you were in Dorset.... and what is the name of the last pub you stubbled out of :-0

@Observing: It's an area of heathland to the west of Poole harbour and there is one of the UK's few, on land, oil wells there.
Nice sweeping bay, shorts or no shorts !!
