All Steamed Up

Posted by

I was walking along the Severn Valley around six weeks or so ago when I heard the whistle of a Steam Engine. As I got closer to the sound i saw the train and noticed it was behaving in a rather strange manner. It would whistle and shunt forward for a couple of hundred metres, stop. reverse and then repeat the process all over again. When I came up to it I realised what was happening. It was a photo shoot. On a hill on the other side of the tracks cameras were set up and snapping away. Unfortunately for me I was on the wrong side of the tracks (Story of my life) down hill and contra jour so this was about the best I could do.
