Robledal

Posted by
grouser (Ludlow, United Kingdom) on 29 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

This is on the other side of Maroma on the mountain's north-east flanks looking north over the high altitude plain created by the coastal mountains. Granada is to the east. This side of the mountain is much less touched by the hand of man, There are no settlements here apart from the occasional Finca and the hillside is mainly covered in Cork Oak and Pine forest.

Short of flying, I am left feeling there is no higher to go . . your processing on these shots is like an intense line and wash ! Very pleasingly different.

Ok - should have looked at this one first before commenting on the December 1 photo. This just confirms it - you are in the middle of nowhere!
