Surf's Up 4 The Ghost of a Wave

The rocks in the back of this frame and the first of this series look sedimentary to me. Madeira was formed by volcanic eruptions that started more than 20 million years ago and finished about 40,000 years ago so I can only assume that this rock in the picture is part of the sea bed that got lifted up by the volcano.
