A brief time later and a wee bit closer

Zooming in a tad on yesterdays shot and moving forward through time a trifle, reveals the stacked lenticular cloud formation, a sure sign that the wind blows cold from the north. This is backed up by the snow on top of Maroma that can be seen on the left. Although the mountain is high, this is late April and it is very unusual for a snowfall at this time of year.

Wow! Love these clouds! I much prefer this zoomed in shot to the previous wide view. It makes more of a feature of these exceptional formations - yes definitely a fist - and excludes the distractions of the houses on the landscape. Excellent exposure and tonal distribution. Awesome photo.
