Soft Rock

Posted by
grouser (Ludlow, United Kingdom) on 28 August 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

A stretch of the soft sandstone cliffs at Covesea. The erosion shows the strata of the laid down beds. Softer parts of the stone have been worn away to create amazing textures, sea stacks and caves that burrow deep into the hillside.
