Yellow and Blue

Posted by
grouser (Ludlow, United Kingdom) on 5 September 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

It seems my wet and leaden sky pictures of the last few days had a certain prophetic quality. Yesterdays national news featured Lossiemouth where over 50mm of rain fell in a very short time causing the river Lossie to burst its banks and flood part of the town. Today's picture hopes for better times with a view to brighter skies, through grass and the yellow flowers of Hawkweed on the dunes edge. This is taken pretty close to where the Rainbow shot was taken, towards the Lossie end of the beach.
