Two views of the crags of the Fiacalle ridge that makes part of the western edge of the Cairngorm plateau.
I don't know UK (shame on me) but I guess from your photos that I would love, I'm a great fan of french Brittany and it looks so close, nature at its best, I can breathe better over there and I miss that, I'll try to go some day - and will let you know :) Superb hues (I learnt that word this morning, I use it at once :))

@k@: Hues nice also tints. I suspect there is a French word that is similar. Never been to the UK yet so close. Tut tut and your English so fluent, what a waste. Now is a good time. Summer has arrived just in time for Autumn.
great collage again

Very interesting geology in these ridges. I like the view showing the basin collected water. The two shots complement each other very well. Fine post.

La première fonctionne comme un visage! Les deux petits lacs comme les yeux du paysage!

You are showing some very interesting landscapes. I never realized there was such ruggedness and emptiness in the UK.

sometimes i wonder
put all those rocks there
piled so perfectly.

Awesome barren landscapes. I think it would be so eerie up there, especially if it was very still. Perhaps a good location for contemplating life, the universe and everything.
