Bog Trotting

Posted by
grouser (Ludlow, United Kingdom) on 19 November 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

This is Brown Clee Hill. It's the other granite outcrop together with Titterstone Clee that reaches the surface here. It's the nearest we get to mountain uplands around Ludlow and the terrain up here is very different from the surrounding countryside. The impervious granite makes for soggy ground even on the summit. But it's lovely walking nevertheless.
