Ludlow Flea Market. 'Grumpy Old Men'
There's a lot of us about :)
especially on Silly Tuesdays :0
i'd be grumpy too, sitting on those hard boxes at the flea market for hours on end, in the hot sun, or in the pesky wind, or the bitter cold, or the rain. and having to unload everything, and pack it all up again, what you don't sell. i'd be very grumpy indeed.

Happy ST to you and all the Grumpies!!!
24 Nov 2009 6:23am
cracking shot, they are deep in there conversion
24 Nov 2009 6:36am
This reminds me of an old ST shot I posted myself a while back (here). One person spouting off ...the other looking so bored! Is the one on the left talking about the fish that got away? Maybe we should all start a Grumpies United group!

@MrsAmber: I shall take up bees wax candle making straight away
LOL!!! Great find and very well captured. These two seem quite upset about something. :) Happy Silly Tuesday to you too.

Un premier plan significatif avec sa discussion animée! Les autres plans ont leur intérêt aussi ! Une photo riche en informations!
Bonne journée lumineuse!

Of course, I don't pretend to understand any of this . . " . .that's half the trouble these days . . "

It´s my goal in life,to become a "grumpy old man" :-) Nice people shot.
24 Nov 2009 10:52am
@Anthony Morgan Lambert: Setting your sights high then ;)
I think the bloke on the left is exaggerating don't you?
Good candid shot.

@Curly: It's since he answered that spam e-mail :0
Ah, that super title, thank you for the clever grin ! And super with that image of Antiques (in all senses - I'm kidding ;)
24 Nov 2009 11:40am
une belle scene !
24 Nov 2009 12:01pm
oh, this is a fantastic capture! I love your b&w rendering...I struggle with that....
24 Nov 2009 12:41pm
@Marion: I do too. Mostly if I discard colour I end up putting it back again as the shot feels as though it's lost something and gained nothing or very little in return. That didn't happen here so the colour never came back :)
This grouser is a prime image, a brilliant lifestyle documentary shot ready for publication ! Grumpy old men.? make me PM and I'll change the country in a month !!
24 Nov 2009 1:38pm
@Michael: Having a PM at all may well be one of the things to be grumpy about :)
Black and white was an excellent choice.
24 Nov 2009 2:10pm
A fascinating picture of its conversation between the two and the myriad of detail in the scene. Nice one.
24 Nov 2009 3:28pm
I just love this kind of documentary photos. I can nearly hear what they are talking about....Good work!
A quiet shot with a friendly conversation among the confusion of a fair!

My favorite type of shots , so what to tell you but - I LOVE THIS shot . Love this story, and I almost can hear these two guys' discussion . ha ha.. Just look at his fingers .. I love seeing people when having gestures while talking . It looks so expressive . And the other guy listening .... hey, this scene / dialog is FABULOUS . 5* from me :)))
24 Nov 2009 4:27pm

24 Nov 2009 5:45pm
Very good, my friend, I like very much this ambience an the expressions of both friends, the b/w is also brilliant.
24 Nov 2009 5:53pm
This is real life - love it and love that you stopped to capture it. I'm always to shy to point a camera at people doing what people do naturally. Well done.
24 Nov 2009 7:05pm
"I swear it were this long if it were an inch"...You could have explained to the guy on the right where your supposed to wear a bumbag.
24 Nov 2009 7:13pm
This is really a very nice scene
24 Nov 2009 8:53pm
