El Caminito Del Rey Revisited

We revisited the spectacular El Chorro gorge and explored ways of getting closer to the caminito. To recap: it was built to transfer men and materials through the gorge to the confluence of three rivers above it, which were dammed to produce hydro electricity. It was completed in 1905 and is called the King's path as King Alphonso XIII walked it in 1925 to inaugurate the first dam.
