Looks a bit like a GoogleEarth shot if I squint (which I find myself doing more and more as the years tick by). What a lovely shot with the sun bouncing off the water. Not sure what the horizon police would make of it though! ;o)

Loved Kate's comment above (and I don't feel in the slightest bit guilty!). Looks like it was taken from a banking aircraft - most unusual, but very interesting treatment.

@dobbino: Just me leaning drunkenly Rob;) I was drawn to the shape of the water and wanted to cut out a lot of extraneous beach so this seemed the logical way to frame it
Incredible, neither of us have ended up with wet desktops!! :-)

I would have sworn it was an aerial shot! Love the long shadows of the tiny figures and the way the sunlight highlights the water's edge. Very nice shot.

I love the angle Grouser....the beautiful golden glow is awesome

Well...and it's a very beautyfull angle...I love this play with the scale, with this child (?) playing on the beach, and the sun appear just as if his has an appointment here. The perspective is well-chosen

very nice landscape shot! It's very interesting the way you capture this, very nice.

Much more abstract and very personal this view! A marvel of landscape that seems taken from a distance! Interesting treatment! Congratulations Grouser!

Saisissant point du vue ! Tu étais dans la peau d'un aigle planant !!
Bonne journée lumineuse et chaleureuse!

Are you certain it's not Hudson's Bay? ;-)

I like the framing and angle! Your title is so true, different angles - different outcomes! (In photography and any other aspect of life...)

@Skyriani: It's a straightforward contra jour shot taken at an angle from a hillside path, with shadow, highlight detail and contrast beefed up a bit
I like your angle on life, it's absolutely fantastic!

i love this! the angle is great and really offers a unique perspective on this beautiful scene. the light is delightful. nicely captured!

i love the angle, grouser. it makes the shot a bit more abstract. one focuses more on the shape than the content of the photo. there is just enough (people walking) to give context to the shape. it's beautiful. wtg!
