A more intimate view of cloud. Here firmly down in the river valley. The Teme flowing past Ludlow
i see a wee bit of flooding. the birds don't seem to be too worried about it.

I like the fog's effect on the details in the image. It adds a feeling mystery...what is it like in the distance. Fine shot.
15 Mar 2010 2:25pm
It's a rather wild river flowing into the fog. I like the nice saturated colors. Great shot.

A lovely atmospheric shot, caught so beautifully. Wonderfully moody and chilly. I'm ready for a warm meal in front of the fire at the manor house nearby. ;-)

beautiful image . beautiful tones . have you though of removing a green corner ?
15 Mar 2010 4:46pm
@MARIANA: Yes. It was actually much brighter. I did try it as B/W, but then put the colour back and reduced the saturation. I could/should perhaps have gone further. Although it looks fine on the screen I'm on at the moment, there is more colour rendering on some screens than others and it's different here to the screen I was on this morning. Such is life. :)
Good evening, Grouse,
The fog makes the scene look very mysterious. The trees are clearly made out. The two ducks on the river, are a great focal point in this scene. In the foreground, right in the picture, the green vegetation on the bank edge, gives an excellent contrast to the overall view. It pleases me very well. Wonderful evening and thank you for your comment. Dear greetings Christel and 5 stars *****

You've pinched my ducks !!. ;>)
15 Mar 2010 6:39pm
@Jeff: I guess they just 'leek'ed out of the Welsh mountains the little 'Quackers' ;) They were going downstream at high speed.
looks like lots of water - did it rain a lot or is this all from snow melt-off?
I prefer the blue skys - I have too much grey weather right outside my door. :(
I need sunshine!!!
15 Mar 2010 7:51pm
@Marion: Melt water. It's from a few weeks ago but I included as I thought it fitted nicely into the cloud theme
splendid atmosphere and capture Grouser!

Beautiful - that mist rolling down the river is quite eery but the ducks don't seem to worried. :)
