Meanwhile back in the pond this bright girl is the centre of attention for this rugby scrum of rampant males. What's she got the others haven't I muse.

This seems an orgy of frogs! A scene from Rugby? also could be! A collection that hard to understand but at the same time is fun! Good image friend! Best regards... Adela

Good morning, Grouser,
It is an invasion, so many frogs in a pond. Nature is alive. Her words remind me of a song by a singer. Unfortunately, I know his name anymore. The song was as follows: If you're in love with a beautiful woman, it's hard. Everybody wants her......
The rest of the text, I unfortunately forgot. I wish you much fun with the frogs. There will be a frog concert every night. The picture is very beautiful. Thank you for your nice comment.
Dear greetings Christel

@ordinaryimages: I seem to remember that's what testosterone does to/for you :)
Oh my giddy aunt, what's going on here. Yes, it reminds me a bit of a rugby scrum too. I'm quite glad I haven't got what she's got, these days! Great nature shot!

@MARIANA: 'would never touch them'
Why not ? they don't mind, they're too distracted to notice :)
Like all good males they are doing what we were intended to do - multiply.

22 Mar 2010 4:37pm
What a crowd
22 Mar 2010 4:54pm
Hmm is there a collective word for a crowd of frogs?
22 Mar 2010 6:11pm
@Curly: It's a 'knot' of toads and I guess that would work equally well for these frogs :)
Maybe magnificent legs :) !! Looks like it could be a touch noisy there at night, Grouser - I trust the pond is a fair way from your home.
22 Mar 2010 6:17pm
@dobbino: No it's close, in the garden. In fact we have two ponds, but all the action takes place during the day and their croaking is quite quiet. It's temperature related. The noisy night time ones come from hotter climes I suspect :)
Well I think it has all been said- but great spotting of this scrambled froggy pond.
