Horizontal sleet slams into us brought by the clouds of yesterday's picture, then just as quickly passes on to blast the tanker unloading at the jetty of the Milford Haven refinery.
A great opportunity for those brave enough to endure it. Photographer found in the bay the only identifying marks are a D70. best...jerry

@dobbino: Bracing is the word I think :)
At first I thought it was a monsoon or hurricane in a far off place, but no, just a Spring shower in the UK :0
Fantastic shot though grouser.

Your picture certainly carries all of the threat and atmosphere of the bad weather, hope it was taken from the safety of your car!

@Curly: No, We were walking the coast path. Had to nurse the camera in my waterproof :0
Excellent lines - including the sleet. Lovely subtle colours. [Still having a choc-tastic Bank Holiday!)

@MrsAmber: Glad to hear it. Re the footie, I'm with the rest of the girls :)
An image with a strong visual. I recognize this light in a sea tromentoso and dangerous! A composisión excellent! Best regards, Adela

Now I am realy home-sick,a good drop of Pembrokeshire spring weather !! I love the composition with the martello fort standing up to the elements as it has for generations !!

Well captured Spring blow Grouse, but when the wind really starts you wont see much of the Stack Rock Fort,or be able to stand there taking shots of it.

@Jeff: Some heavily braced pics to come Jeff. One leg firmly behind the other faced into the wind. I had to fire off a few shots to make sure I got a steady one. We were fortunate to be sheltered here to some extent by the headland. All that fresh air makes you light headed :)
wow..it scares me!!! :D
very nice shot..really like it!
