After rain comes the sun, peeking through a watery sky to illuminate a troop of Welsh ponies and the road leading to St Brides Castle
A very beautiful composition with lovely soft light, tones and sense of scale!

A distinctive Celtic feel to this, shrouded in mist as though history draws it's curtains across us.

Your landscapes are somewhat iuncreible grouser! Important environments. The soft light and color ... admire is always a pleasure! Today a peaceful, misty landscape with horses that complete the picture in the foreground and a splendid castle in the background. Very good composition!

Good afternoon Grouser,
It is an interesting picture. In the foreground the horses in the sunlight and in the background, the light fog, harmonizes very well. I like it. Have a nice weekend and thanks for your nice comment. Dear greetings Christel

Softly stunning...timeless---this could have been taken in the 17th, 18th, or 19th century.
A beautiful bucolic sight. It warms my heart.

Very nice grouser, I think perhaps I would have chopped the sky away, making a panorama type shot.
@Michael: Yes it could possibly loose a few pixels. Not too many though :)
A weekend at your country house...how utterly quaint ol' boy. best...jerry

Good contrast between the first level, and the second one, more pale, like a painting in front of which the horses are passing by! Very romantic (of XIXe) scene.

Beautiful how the light is filtered by the humid air!
