Beautiful framing, specially this silhouette of the dancer maybe.

@Paco Díaz: Thanks Paco. I had to fiddle about quite a lot to get her in the right place and stay square on to the building façade, without falling off the balcony I was on:)
well seen and captured.

Well captured. A mysterious reflection in these old windows.

Fascinating reflections, but I'm much more impressed with the tonal range and quality of the stonework, quite exceptional.

@Curly: I did tweak it a tad :)

It gives me great joy to see your picture in my city look Grouse! I am glad to see that you also look at the balconies and reflections on them ... We may have crossed at some time and as the two walk upwards we have not ever seen! A hug friend and thanks for these moments of beauty! Best regards, Adela

You have a very sharp eye seeing this! Beautiful reflections on a beautiful detailed building window!

They are varied and very interesting reflections. The figure is one element that catches the eye first. A solid picture.

On imagine ce qui se passe à l'intérieur!
Bon dimanche lumineux!

trhis is super architecture and nice reflection but i do not get why did you cut it that way , or cropped it that way .. no window, no balcony is whole !
6 Jun 2010 2:37pm
@MARIANA: I didn't feel they needed to be. I wanted to emphasise the architectural detail and the reflection on the left in particular.
Awesome shot. That silhouette and setting sun is a surprise n i like pics with surprises

Sorry, to me this composition is missing a lot ..:((

@MARIANA: We will have to agree to differ then :)
Ahhh . . the romance of Barcelona . . if only those buildings could speak !

@Ronnie 2¢: They would have to shout for you to hear them over the round the clock party going on in the street:)
pictures within pictures...I never crop unless I have to : ] best...jerry

@ordinaryimages: This is un-cropped apart from a very thin slice off the right hand side. I used the zoom to frame it ;)
The architecture gets me going here. Gorgeous.
6 Jun 2010 5:46pm
Ignoring the reflection for a minute. The architecture is very graceful and the processing spot on. The reflection is the cherry on the cake!

Stunning!!! I love it. Great reflections and textures. The architecture is beautiful. I like the crop... very interesting and original... it adds to the interest and mystery... BRAVO!

Yes..."she" seems to be dancing some sevillana while seeing "with you" the sunset...A poetic detail.
