The last picture I took before we left the falls, not knowing that round the corner was an accident waiting to happen. For some of the results and the story click Here
Lovely composition and feeling of tranquility, despite the rushing water

@CElliottUK: I had the stitches out five days later with no problems. The longest after effects were from the nerve damage. I still had pins and needles in my nose five weeks later, but apart from a small area in my upper jaw, it's all cleared up now. Ms R recovered from her hammered shoulder slowly. As I said, the overwhelming feeling was one of relief that we got off so lightly. These roads are statistically amongst the most dangerous in the world apparently, although as the traffic is pretty light, they don't seem that way. :)
Very dramatic story! Shocking that it was only minutes after this beautiful view. Lovely shot of these trumpet flowers and the waterfall makes a perfect background.

Please friend ... that hurt ... How are you doing now? When you see the wonder of the flowers I think if it was worth. Or not? ... Friend care to photograph carries its danger! Best regards and a hug! Adela
@Adela Fonts: Well worth it. I'm fine:)

@Anthony Morgan Lambert: Me neither. it worked well though:)
A most beautiful capture, the horrific story of your accident was gripping and praise the Lord,
you are recovering nicely. It must have been a harrowing time and many pins and needles to
worry about. Glad to hear of your recovery.

I like the greenery used as a screen for the falls and the nice setting. Fine shot.
