There are wall after wall covered in carvings here. These Hindu sculptures are in the walls of the terrace of the Leper King.

Hard to tell if this shows historic vandalism or whether it is a deliberate attempt to display the progressive ravages of leprosy. Although they look like duplications you can see small differences in each of the carvings.

They look they could come to life at any moment,this shot reminds me of old "Ray Harryhausen" film special effects (Sindbad,Jason and the argonauts etc) for some reason !!
