Ferry

So we hit the road again. Another one of those pieced together trips. A long haul by bus to the border where we are issued different coloured squares of sticky plastic to indicate our final destination. The crossing into Thailand takes two and a half hours to negotiate in 30 degree heat and very little shade. The martinet on the Thai side, immaculate in his uniform makes a gesture of disgust, indicating that I must do up the buttons of my shirt. Finally we are through and on to a mini bus with four others. More hours of driving bring us to the coast at sunset and on to the ferry to take us to the island of Ko Chang
