That is a nice thick coating, so pretty in the light... and the scene is almost stolen by that tree to the right.

Celiotec says it's surreal, he wouldn't have said that if he'd seen my car after the freezing rain had fell on it (our only taste of winter so far).
Despite the harshness of the weather, it still makes for beautiful photography.

@Karen Politte: in this case it was actually freezing fog that thawed on the trees and then froze again when the temperature dropped overnight. Not quite sure how it got so thick though
