The Moor and his Parrot

This automata is in the square in Frigiliana and tells the story of the source of the town's riches. The foolish parrot is obsessed with the idea of gold but the Moor explains that the true wealth lies in the land's abundant supply of water from the mountains above.

Parrots are unpredictable though, there was one resident in a local bar here, told you which was the best ale, then it came and sat next to , and shit on your hand. Never trusted them much after that.
