Same set-up as yesterday on the return to the dock. Interesting that the shot that was closest to what was perceivable at the time was the least popular yesterday:) Will these three suffer the same fate?
Great sky. As yesterday I prefer nº 3 :)

My pref today is the middle image, though I would probably have played with a bit of dodging and burning rather than have used HDR.
6 Sep 2012 6:15am
I'm still with the monochrome

Grouser classics - love 'em all.......
6 Sep 2012 6:52am
Fabulous big sky - I vote for version three this time - the glimpse of colour adds extra vibrancy.
6 Sep 2012 7:32am
Top, for the more dramatic contrast and "feel"
6 Sep 2012 7:40am
Haha-as one of the few who voted "2" yesterday, I'm gonna do the same today. There's always one who wants to be different....
6 Sep 2012 7:57am
My vote goes to #2 this time - I like the central suggestion of color but would have suppressed the blue a little.

Hier fällt es mir leichter. Die SW Version.
6 Sep 2012 10:13am
Mono for me
6 Sep 2012 10:25am
Yep, top for me, the shot's just much more dramatic as a whole.
6 Sep 2012 10:54am
Great triptic. Fabulous landscape.
6 Sep 2012 10:58am
I still prefer the black and white, but it's my idea. A pretty picture.

Wonderful sky ...really wonderful
I Like your photo.

Trois ciels merveilleux aux belles formes avec de la fuyance sueprbe.
6 Sep 2012 1:54pm
Superb ! I prefer the one in the middle !
6 Sep 2012 2:42pm
Number three yesterday, number one today, but I do miss the Gull.
6 Sep 2012 3:08pm
Number one for me. Great dramatic impact in the mono.
6 Sep 2012 3:18pm
Three fine shots today. I would favorite the middle shot...by just a hair. Yesterday's vote to like the image that was less real shows our builtin bias from seeing too many over statured pictures here, in magazines, on television, and on bill boards. It's akin to finding sugar in all the products because the industry knows we are all addicted to sweeter tastes. My theory may not hold water! :-)

@Slackwater - Don: I know what you're saying though Don. I'm sure there is a lot of HDR enhancement in film and video work too. Thank goodness the real world still remains more convincing.... or does it? :)
My vote goes to number two this time. I like the blue that can be seen in the sky.
6 Sep 2012 4:38pm
I prefer the first one, in monochrome ... the contrasts makes it more dramatic !!! Excellent shot ...
6 Sep 2012 4:47pm
Today I prefer 3. it seems the most dramatic to match the atmosphere of the sky.
6 Sep 2012 6:29pm
1 & 3 but 1 is ahead because of the stronger contrasts.
6 Sep 2012 7:17pm
Today I prefer 3. the atmosphere of the sky is terrific...!.

Love contest...all of photography is a lie...my reason for choosing #4 ; ] best…jf
