Rock Walk 1

Posted by
grouser (Ludlow, United Kingdom) on 19 September 2012 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Mrs G takes the lead on this rock walk between Westcliff and Pobbles Beach on the Gower. This walk is only possible during a brief interlude at low tide and due to the combination of abrasive rock, slippery seaweed and long gulleys reaching in from the sea to the cliff face, is quite a challenging scramble as we realised fairly quickly.

Lovely place, but not a place to fall over, I guess, you would be scraped to bits

@CElliottUK: and I bleed like a stuck pig from the slightest scratch thanks to the warfarin :0

Excellent contraste accentué par cette roche noire! Un moment de plaisir à la faveur de la marée basse.
Bonne journée lumineuse!

A place and a wonderful view, may be required shoes to protect their feet. I'm not particularly adept at these courses. Great shot.

A fine shot of the low-tide interim that permits a quick scramble down the beach. Fine shot of the moist area.

A slippery perilous place, but 'Womens Lib' has put the girls on par with the boys, I guess that's why you sent her first... :0
