Whirling through space and time to Ludlow Castle seen from Whitcliff
-superbe double image bien vue, quel cadrage et ces branches qui pendent avec la vue, génial.

I prefer the colour view Grouser, and both suggest that you have built a "hide" for bird watching in there:-)

@Curly: This is the great leap forward through space and time to almost topical. I fall back again tomorrow:)
Love the screening effect of the delicate branches - adds much atmosphere with the colour version my pick as well.

@Stephen: I took two shots, one focussed on the castle and this one focussed on the larch branches. The slight softness of the castle in this version adds to the mood I think.
Superb atmospheric image of the castle, another vote for the colour version

The sight a poor "Man at Arms" would have before having to storm the castle !! Great pair of shots,I like the colour one best !!

@Anthony Morgan Lambert: given you have to run down the hill, cross the river sand then run up the other side to get to the walls before you start, I would say "better give it a miss":)
this time ... I prefer the color version : ))

Could not choose neither, glad you present both, superb x 2.

@k@: I thought the same. I often do a B/W conversion and can see straight away that it's either an improvement or not. I only post two versions if I think they both have their merits
Both versions are terrific, and for me the color just edges out the mono. Love that vibe.

I love black and white, but this time I prefer color. I like a lot pastel tones and framing. A good photo.

These shots make an interesting comparison. Good individually and very good together.

Although I like a lot monochrome photos, in this case I really prefer the color version !!! Beautiful presentation of this fabulous view ...

Have to go with the pastel subtlety that reveals the planes of pictorial space. best…jf

I like peering through the vines to see the castle. I prefer the color version of the image.

Colour for me, can we see the castle now

The colour version is just so delicate - definitely gets my vote. I really like the BW version, and waited a while till I looked at the colour one - didn't think it would match up, but it did - and more!
