After the highs of the Navacerrada we plunge down to the depths of Madrid and unexpectedly enter a web of underground roads where, of course Sat-Nav gives up the ghost. We are in this maze for what seems like hours but is probably about 15 minutes and despite all the odds, manage to make the right choices and emerge in daylight on the right road. So we enter the world of Don Quixote, driving on empty roads once more, to Cuenca
