Adder Dance

Posted by
grouser (Ludlow, United Kingdom) on 6 May 2013 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

We whirl through space and time to the Gower last week. Walking on the upper coast path to Pwldu a movement in the hedgerow caught my eye. Going closer Mrs G and I were treated to the rare privilege of seeing two adders courting. They were so involved with their twisting and turning that we were able to edge cautiously quite close and watch a mesmerising performance of which I give you snippets here. A marvel I couldn't wait to post. Back to March/April in Spain tomorrow
