This pair are doing their very best to drown each other.
They may be just doing that shared bathing and cleansing that becomes a preamble to................well you know :-)

@Curly: No, definitely territorial. One was driven off at the end of this violent confrontation. It was happening all over the lake. Too many male coots per litre :)
Super frozen action

Fun! Humanoids also spend happy hours trying to drown each other.

Really going for it, I'm down you neck of the woods from not this Wednesday but next Wednesday, for 4 days, looking for some nice short walks I can do with a six year old, any ideas ? Cheers

@Alun: Plenty of walks in Mortimer's forest which you can edit to suit you as there are lots of paths. Clee hills, both Brown and Titterstone, are also pretty good and you will get terrific views from the summits. In Ludlow itself you can take the Whitcliff walks on the opposite side of the river and you could start or finish with a pint at the 'Charlton Arms' :) Stokesay Castle, which is actually a fortified manor house, just north of Ludlow is worth a visit too and there is also lots of great walking further up at Church Stretton.
Quel effet et mouvement quelle vue et compo sueprbe effet dans l'eau qui vole aussi.
