Note the bench, that was on the bank so you could sit and take in the view, has been swept in to the river
Now that looks fierce

Caused by a flash flood, or general ongoing erosion?

@CElliottUK: Unprecedented storms in the mountains that caused severe flooding in Canmore and later in Calgary, closing the Trans Canada highway for a time. The river here is back to normal. Well relatively
Listening to the news this morning, I could be forgiven for thinking that this was one of your local rivers in Shropshire!

I really feel the ferocity of nature from this image. The strong power sometimes is far beyond our imaginations. Excellent shot. Have a great week. :)

A muscular shot that looks terrific in black and white. Hopefully nobody was using that bench when it was suddenly swept away.

A fine picture of the violent water in the falls. Great looking highlights which are very effective in a black and white image.

A wild wonderful picture, but there was no need for the lager lout behaviour with the bench, just so you could get a better shot. ;>)
