I really can't decide which version I prefer here

Doug from Burnham-on-Sea, United Kingdom

I think the B&W just edges it for me

superbe en noir et blanc

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

The mono looks dark and threatening, think I prefer the colour version.

Etsu from Kyoto, Japan

Thanks for showing us both images. Whether or not, I prefer B&W version. The version gives a mysterious atmosphere. Have a nice day. :)

Mhelene from Villiers-sur-Marne, France

Very beautiful framing ! I prefer the colored version ,both are superb but the sky is fantastic !!

Lorna from Hamilton, Canada

The colour version illustrates that you are in a grove of dead trees.

Frances Gaffey from Massachusetts, United States

I love bother versions but the black & white gives more atmosphere. Great shot!

Kate from EXETER, United Kingdom

They are both equally brilliant for me.

Rick from Toronto, Canada

Both gorgeous frames. I refuse to choose a fave :)

Kyu from Kyoto, Japan

Wonderful wide-angle shot. Both of them are stunning. I prefer the B&W.

Don from Spokane, United States

Each has its strong points. I like the color for the contrast with the sky, while the BW is an effective graphic-type image.

franz from Baden, Austria

sorry, i can't either! both are expertly done and presented!

31 Oct 2013 4:21pm

Ted from South Wales, United Kingdom

colour...not enough contrast in the mono otherwise?

Footloose Ferret from Central Florida, United States

Each version solicits a different emotional responses, but both are equally deserving. The quality I really like in this image is the way the 2 outer trees frame the mountain's peak; they lead the eye up and in. Good job.

Judy aka L@dybug from Brooksville, FL, United States

Both are great, but color has far more life for me. ;D

Like FF, I find it difficult to make a choice - each sends their own different message valid in its own way.
