Washed Out

You may remember I mentioned earlier about the floods from unprecedented heavy rainstorms in the mountains causing havoc and flooding in Canmore and later in Calgary. This is Cougar Creek one of the worst affected areas. Although hard to imagine, before the storms this was a pleasant small, grass fringed stream running under the bridge in the centre of the frame. I'm standing on what's left of a road to take this shot and there are the Three Sisters in the background
