There were hundreds of these washed up on the beach and there seems to be no satisfactory explanation as to why

@Curly: Probably temperature related. This may have something to do with why they have washed up here. The sea is apparently unusually warm for the time of year

I have seen jelly fish washed up on shore but this is by far the biggest one I have ever seen! Were there a lot of them this size? A great image! Happy ST!
