Interesting too see this in color and b/w. Personally I would prefer this b/W.

very interesting and convincing juxtaposition of bw and colour! I'm with Ralf here. If I had to choose - which I don't - I'd go for bw, too!

I think the B/W is great.

I prefer the lower.

The bl/white is more dramatic.
Good to see the difference

I like each for different reasons. The B&W brings out the wonderful details. The color shows off that mossy green.

Really a magic forest more mysterious in B&W !

A nice two panel presentation of this tangled beauty.

Both look fabulous...with that fossilized human around !!!

Beautiful tones, contrasts and textures captured in this shot!! The color version adds a nice "pop".

Color or monochrome ... I like them both!!

This is a magnificent forest. The trees look ancient. I like both the color and the black and white versions. The black and white is a bit more mysterious and almost sinister looking.

I'll go with the colour, By the way where's Mrs G ? we're missing her ......

@Jeff & Pat: her duties providing scale were not required here :)
I like both versions. Since the green is so muted, I think it adds a dimension to the photo. If it has been richer or brighter, I think the breen would have stolen the attention.

Color for sure. With me it is almost always color.
