This is beautiful! I have never seen this type of clematis but I like it a lot. I love the color. Beautifully photographed.

@Elaine Hancock: They have feathery whorls of seed heads a bit like 'Old mans beard' and can be propagated by overwintering the seeds in the fridge for a few weeks, before sowing in early spring, so if you come across one when visiting a garden just pinch a ripe seed head :)
