In Alnwick gardens is a special SecTion, the poison garden, where only accompanied tours are allowed. It is one of the few places in these backward isles where marijuana can be cultivated under licence, although many far more dangerous plants are common in gardens.
I have an old garden book which recommends cannabis as a good foliage plant for the back of the border :)
