Another sculpture that relies on its scale for impact. Many people will be familiar with the original of this. They were about 3 ft tall and placed outside shops for people to put money in a slot in the top of the head

I guess you had to be there - we didn't have "donation boxes" like this where I grew up. I again agree there is not a lot of artistic merit here.

It is hard to imagine how big this is. The people in the image offer a good comparison. The face and the broken leg gets to you. I certainly would have donated.
