In a vain and pathetic attempt to clear out my office a bit I have been scanning in some old predigital photos and trawling through ancient sketchbooks. This is how I thought of age when in my early twenties. My view is somewhat different now :)

If I look at it sideways ..the right side presents a face..a female. The left, a complicated coiffure...of course you would never have imagined or conceived !!
As they say, Art is what appeals to the viewer and each one has a view point !
Lovely staedy hand, I should say!!!

@Devi: I did then. Now my hands shake, especially the right one so my drawing style has had to dramatically adapt and painting has become challenging. Thank goodness for image stabilisation on the camera :)
Top paint work!
I really like this sketch. Your view might have changed now on what you thought of ageing but great you kept the sketch how you thought of it then. I hope you show us more of your art.

I think it’s great to find things and see where we are now, it allows us to know where we stand...

This is a fabulous sketch. I really like it. What I see here is sadness. I am curious as to what your view is now compared to when you made this drawing.

@Elaine Hancock: Well fortunately though I am older than this image I am not quite so decrepit... at least not yet :) Nor so sad and introspective. I think that aspect was probably more of a reflection of my state of mind at the time of drawing
There was a comment that I put in Google translator awhile back, and instead of age it came up with decay. Yikes.
